TIPS TO CARE FOR YOUR SHOES

  1. Dry them out slowly. Ensure you take care of your wet shoes by storing them in a warm and well ventilated place to dry out properly. Do not leave your shoes to dry by a heater or with a hairdryer, as the intensive heat can make the leather crack. We suggest applying a matching shoe care product, for example Tarrago Shoe Cream, what will make the leather goods smooth and conditioned again. It’ll help prevent cracking, wrinkling, fading and flaking.

  2. Let your shoes have a break! Do not wear the same shoes on two successive days. The leather needs time to dry and recover after each wearing. Shoe trees  should be used after each wearing to maintain the shape of the shoe and help them dry out.

  3. Make sure you waterproof your leather, canvas, suede and nubuck goods with spray-on water and dirt repellent  once a week (repeat every week or fortnight) for at least 30 minutes before leaving the house. Do not use it on lacquered leather and brushed leather.

    4. Make your walk a little bit more pleasant. An insole is a soft pad (usually made from a foam, gel or leather material), which you place inside your shoes to provide support, cushioning and           even warmth for your feet.
