This Privacy Policy describes how SIA “Ritter” (hereinafter – the Seller or we) collects, processes, stores, and protects your (hereinafter – the Customer or User) personal data provided when visiting or making purchases on the website www.ritter.lv (hereinafter – the Website).

We value your privacy highly and are committed to ensuring the protection of your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR) and other applicable legal acts in the Republic of Latvia.

  • For order processing, delivery, and invoicing: Delivery address (or selected Omniva parcel locker), contact phone number, email address, payment details (bank account number).
  • For communication with the Customer: Email address and contact phone number (to inform about order status, delivery, or respond to inquiries).
  • Technical information (cookies): IP addresses, device information, browsing history, and actions taken on the Website (to analyze Website performance and improve usability).

3. Legal Basis for Data Processing

The processing of the Customer’s personal data is carried out on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)): Processing is necessary to process your order, ship goods, and fulfill obligations arising from a distance contract.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)): Processing is necessary to comply with statutory obligations (e.g., accounting, storing invoices).

  • Registered account data is stored for as long as the Customer actively uses the account or requests its deletion.

5. Transfer of Data to Third Parties

SIA “Ritter” undertakes not to disclose or sell your personal data to third parties. Data may only be transferred to trusted cooperation partners (processors) with whom we have entered into agreements and who ensure data confidentiality, solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order:

  • Delivery services: To ensure product delivery (e.g., Omniva).
